1

For high school, vocational and college students.

When you get a job and work for a company in the future, there are various rules in the company and you need to work according to them. Among them, there are various activities to produce good products and services, which are collectively called "quality control" or "quality control activities".

Many companies have departments such as the Quality Control Department, Quality Assurance Department, Quality Control Division, and Quality Assurance Division, but these departments are not the only ones that carry out quality control. Every department in the company works together to make products, provide services, carry products, and purchase raw materials. Currently, quality control is rarely taught at technical high schools and vocational schools other than university science and engineering classes. This is because there has been an implicit understanding that quality control is taught by companies, prioritizing knowledge and unique skills in specialized fields regarding what is learned at school, but recently, companies have provided quality control education at schools. There is also an increasing demand for people to go.

However, recently, in addition to the diversification of work styles such as dispatched employees and part-time workers, the style of lifetime employment has collapsed, and the number of companies that provide quality control education to all employees is decreasing. However, since the requirements for quality control have not changed, there is no doubt that certification holders will be given preferential treatment when hiring temporary employees or temporary employees.

The basics of quality control are not difficult at all. Why don't you challenge from the Grade 4 by using the "QC KENTEI -- Grade 4 Textbook" that can be downloaded for free here.

For companies.

The quality control certification system divides the knowledge level of quality control into four stages, conducts a written test for each, and makes an objective evaluation. Regarding the knowledge level, we have received many opinions from companies, and we have divided it into four grades as "ability to do" regarding quality control, and set it as "this much knowledge is required" to demonstrate that ability.

Many short-term and temporary employees are often assigned to production sites, and more and more companies are having problems with their quality control systems. Traditionally, companies have paid 100% of the cost of quality control education, but most companies do not provide education to temporary employees such as dispatched labor, which is the cause of quality problems. The number of cases is increasing.

Companies would not expect improvement activities from these short-term and temporary employees. However, at least they want people who know the importance of quality control, how to proceed with work, safety, 5S, and other basics of workplace activities
